1808 C-3 R1 VG10. Double Struck Off Center. Attractive glossy chocolate and olive brown. No verdigris. The only marks are some very faint hairline scratches on the portrait and a tiny rim bruise under the bust tip, plus a few more hairlines at the top of the reverse. LDS, Manley state 5.0, with the reverse rotated 30 degrees CW. Double struck. One strike was centered on the planchet and the other was 20% off center to K-7.5. Clear evidence of the off-center strike shows on both sides, but the dominant strike is the centered one.
