1809 C-3 R1 VG10. Double Struck. Glossy chocolate brown. No roughness or verdigris, only a few contact marks. The only significant mark is a thin scratch from the lower edge of the truncation through star 13. E-MDS, Manley state 1.0, with the reverse rotated 30 degrees CCW. Double struck with both strikes centered on the planchet but rotated 15 degrees between the impressions. Extensive evidence of the two strikes shows on both sides, including the upper half of a 1 clearly visible on the bust and two faces for Ms Liberty.
