1809 C-5 R1 Repunched 9 EF45. Close to AU50 but there is a small splash of reddish toning in the field before the nose and a dull nick on the rim over the I in UNITED. Otherwise this piece is very nice, nearly flawless. Glossy chocolate and steel with frosty luster in protected areas. Nicely struck E-MDS, Manley state 1.0 late. The dentils are mostly clear but fine radial die flowlines show near the dentils on both sides. The repunched 9 feature is clear.
