1809 C-6 R1 F12. Tab Double Strike. Slightly sharper but there a few light contact marks on both sides, none notable or at all distracting. Glossy olive brown and chocolate. Double struck, the second strike positioned about 85-90% off center to K-9. Half of a star is clearly visible on the obverse side of the tab while the reverse tab was struck against a new blank planchet. A very attractive mint error, and one that's easy to explain. M-LDS. Manley state 5.0. The reverse is rotated 140 degrees CCW.
