1722 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny Martin 4.3-Bc.1 Rarity-4. ANACS graded VF-25 details,corroded. Glossy chocolate brown with a couple splashes of reddish chocolate on both sides, and these splashed areas contain traces of verdigris. The only verdigris visible to the unaided eye is a small patch in the field off the left shoulder of the seated figure. Overall the eye appeal of this piece is decent. Late die state with heavy die rusting in parts of the obverse legend, especially at DEI. Listed on page 42 of the "Redbook."
