(1667-69) Saint Patrick's Farthing Breen-213 Griffee G42-5/5a Rarity-6 F12. Type with "Sea Beasts below King" according to Breen. Attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Well centered on a smooth, problem-free planchet. Choice for the grade, especially for a St Patrick farthing. The brass splasher is located at the bottom of the harp instead of on the crown as intended. A rare type of error for these small coppers. LDS with a pair of strong die cracks at the top of the obverse clearly later than the Griffee example. Listed on page 41 in the "Redbook. Weight 75.5 grains.
