1722 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny with Harp Left Martin 4.2-Bd.1 Rarity-5 NGC graded AU58. Frosty steel brown and chocolate with traces of faded mint red showing on both sides. The only defect is a low spot covering the middle of the seated figure into the field before her face, as struck. Otherwise this piece is choice and the eye appeal remains excellent. LDS with strong die cracks on the reverse. Clearly superior to the Martin plate coins for the variety. Listed on page 44 in the "Redbook."
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
