1785 Nova Constellatio with Pointed Rays Crosby 3-B Rarity-1 Fine-15. Five points sharper but the protected areas show extremely faint roughness while the highpoints are smooth. No verdigris and the only mark is a tiny rim nick over the E in ET on the obverse. Slightly glossy dark olive brown with slightly lighter brown toning on the highpoints. The date and legends are clear except for some weakness on the script US in the center of the obverse (thanks to minor die swelling in that area). Listed on page 54 in the "Redbook." Weight 106.7 grains.
Estimated Value $80-UP.
