1775 Imitation Irish Halfpenny VF30. Clipped Planchet. Attractive glossy chocolate brown. Smooth surfaces with just a couple small marks, including a rim bruise at the A in HIBERNIA. A minor planchet clip affects the dentils at the top of the obverse and under the 75 in the date, but the devices are not affected. Strong date and legends. Listed on pages 65-6 in the "Redbook." Weight 125.7 grains.
