Trio of 1798 Cents with Mint Errors. First is an S-145 Large 8, Style I Hair, that was double struck with a 1-millimeter shift to K-12 between impressions. This one is glossy brown and grades G4 with a clearly doubled date. The second is an S-151 (8 over 7 Overdate) struck 5% off center to K-1 grading Basal State 1+. The date is strong and the overdate is visible, and the surfaces are smooth, just worn. Third is an S-173 Small 8 with Style II Hair in the very rare terminal die state with a full cud break at LI in LIBERTY. The strike on this one is uneven and there is no date while other details are many points better. It grades Fair-2 overall. Lot of 3 coins.
