1824 N-3 R2 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Glossy light olive with overtones of sea green and hints of bluish steel. Choice except for an arc of darker reddish chocolate toning at stars 3-4, and this area contains traces of very fine verdigris. A similar but smaller and less obvious area of dark toning with verdigris is located in the dentils at the bottom of the reverse. MDS. Similar die state to the preceding example, but this one has sharp, clear doubling (from die bounce) on much of the wreath and most of ONE CENT.
