1855 N-4 R1 AU55. Mint state sharpness but there are about a dozen small specks of greenish crud scattered over the obverse, the largest of these at the dentils under star 12. Glossy light olive and chocolate brown with 10% of the faded mint red remaining on the obverse, traces on the reverse. LDS, die state f late, with four clearly defined rim cud breaks over STATES plus a strong die crack on the rim above OF that outlines where the final cud is forming.
