1787 Machin's Mills Vlack 19-87C Rarity-2 VF35. Ten points sharper but there are some faint hairline scratches on both sides, all visible only with the aid of a strong glass. The only mark visible to the unaided eye is a dull, shallow scratch from the R in GEORGIVS to the hair ribbon. All these marks are old and blend into the attractive glossy chocolate and steel brown toning. Otherwise this piece is choice. LDS with extensive die rust on both sides. Weight 118.3 grains. Listed on page 67 in the "Redbook." Estimated Value $500-UP
