1787 Connecticut Miller 1.2-C Rarity-3 (the "Muttonhead" variety) VG7. Mailed Bust Right. Sharpness VF20 but dull from uniform fine to moderate granularity. No verdigris or contact marks. Dark steel and olive brown. The planchet has two minor clips that affect only the dentils on both sides (as struck). EDS, before severe lapping weakened the designs and legends. The date is easily readable. Weight 118.1 grains. Listed on page 61 in the "Redbook." Estimated Value $150-UP
