1787 Massachusetts Cent Ryder 2b-A Rarity-1 F15. The "Horned Eagle" variety. Five points sharper but there are three dull rim nicks over WEALTH and a small carbon spot right of that H. Otherwise smooth and attractive. Glossy chocolate brown. The date and legends are strong. Later die state with a clear "horn" break extending up from the top of the eagle's head. Weight 141.3 grains. Listed on page 59 in the "Redbook." Estimated Value $150-UP
