1787 New Jersey Maris 6-D Rarity-2 F12. Variety with an Outlined Shield. Glossy chocolate brown with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. No roughness or notable marks. LDS with a strong die crack at the bottom of the shield. The date is faint, as usual on this variety, and the 87 is essentially invisible. Weight 152.9 grains. Listed on page 70 in the "Redbook."
