1838 Counterstamped "Dr. G. G. WILKINS. Brunk W-610 F12. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel. Smooth and free of marks other than the counterstamp which was carefully positioned in the field before the portrait. Dr. Wilkins was a prolific stamper of coins, and this stamp was assigned the W-610 catalog designation by Gregory Brunk. A very nice example of this popular counterstamp. Estimated Value $50-UP
