1787 New Jersey Maris 6-C Rarity-5 VG7. Mostly glossy olive brown and steel. The planchet is reasonably smooth except for an area of shallow corrosion on the right side of the obverse and a few voids on the rim over UNUM on the reverse. No notable verdigris or contact marks. The date is weakly struck, as always on this variety, but it is complete and easily readable. Listed on page 70 in the "Redbook." Weight 139.3 grains.
