1795 Washington Liberty & Security Penny Breen-1254. PCGS graded MS-66 Brown. CAC Approved. Beautiful medium brown and light chocolate with traces of original red, especially on the reverse. The fields are smooth and slightly reflective and this piece offers outstanding eye appeal. No spots, stains, or contact marks. The edge is lettered and reads "AN ASYLUM FOR THE OPPRESS'D OF ALL NATIONS." The edge lettering was applied deeply into the planchet causing the obverse rim to be a bit uneven, which is normal for this issue. A premium example in every respect. Listed on page 84 in the "Redbook."
