1850 C-1 R6+ (As A Proof). PCGS graded Proof 64 Brown. CAC Approved. Attractive glossy medium chocolate brown with a faint streak of darker olive brown toning from star 7 to the rim under star 13. No spots or stains. The fields are nicely reflective but the mirrors are not deep, which is normal for the proof strikes of this year. The only marks are a short hairline scratch on the rim under the 0 and a pair of tiny rim nicks under the adjacent 85. Sharply struck with minor doubling visible on all 4 digits of the date.
