1817 N-7 R7 (without mouse) G4. Sharpness VG8, even stronger on the reverse, but both sides are covered with uniform moderate granularity. No verdigris, and the only mark is a dull dent at the bottom of the wreath. The date is weak thanks to an uneven strike but it remains readable. Slightly glossy dark steel brown and chocolate. Extremely rare EDS, before the "Mouse" break on top of the head. Struck with the reverse die misaligned to K-1.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
