1821 N-2 R1. NGC graded MS-62 Brown. Glossy mix of light brown and darker chocolate. Sharply struck and attractive but not quite perfect. There is a faint diagonal planchet void passing through the eye and tiny traces of extremely fine roughness can be found hidden under the toning on the obverse. None of these defects are visible to the unaided eye. MDS. The die line from the bust tip that shows in the early state is gone but there is no crumbling in the dentils at stars 6 & 7.
Our grade is AU50 sharpness net EF45.
Estimated Value $2,000-UP.
