1841 N-7 R2 MS60. Glossy bluish steel brown with very faded mint red in protected areas. The only marks are a faint, barely visible spot of darker toning from the bust tip to the top of the 8 and a small rim nick or planchet chip over the E in STATES.
MDS, die state b early. A faint die crack extends down from the bottom of star 8 into the field below and the die defects under the date are dull but visible. Very attractive for the grade. Tied for CC#10 in the Grellman census, and it comes with a nice provenance. DWH #0886.
Estimated Value $500-UP.
