1847 N-12 R3+ Repunched 8 AU50. Glossy reddish chocolate brown with steel brown highpoints and a small splash of darker olive brown toning on the D in UNITED. A tiny nick in the field under the chin is the only mark. Very rare
EDS, die state a, with both dies uncracked. The repunching inside the top of the 8 is sharp. Not in the overall condition census for the variety but second finest of the early state. DWH #2522.
