1849 N-11 R1 Repunched 1 MS62+. Choice lustrous bluish steel brown with traces of faded mint red, especially on the obverse. Just a few very trivial signs of contact, including a tiny trim tick over star 5 and a small spot of microscopic roughness at the right foot of T in CENT. Sharp
EDS, die state a early, with crisp repunching under the right base of the 1 and all the fine die finishing lines sharp. The fields are smooth and slightly reflective. Excellent eye appeal, very close to MS63. Tied for CC#3 in the Grellman census. DWH #2127.
Estimated Value $400-UP.
