1852 N-10 R2. PCGS graded MS-65 Red & Brown. Lustrous faded mint red changing to steel brown on the highpoints, about 70% of the mellowed red remaining, mostly on the obverse. Tiny specks of dark toning are sprinkled over both sides, including one in the field touching the main curl. A tiny planchet flake high on the cheek under the right edge of the eye is a good identifying mark. This cent offers nice eye appeal, but the luster is not as dominant as you expect for a piece with this much faded mint color. Rare
