1853/3 N-4 R3+ Boldly Repunched 3 AU50. Sharpness mint state but dipped, now retoned frosty light bluish steel brown with faded red in protected areas. The only mark is a small spot of very fine roughness in the dentils under star 1.
MDS, die state b. The die lines over N in UNITED are gone, the die crack at M has not formed, and the repunching over the 3 is still sharp. The tip of the coronet is weakly struck. CC#6 in the Grellman census. DWH #2411.
