1853 N-13 R1 Repunched 1 MS60+. Attractive steel brown with satiny luster covering the obverse. Virtually flawless, a microscopic speck of carbon in the field near the hair under star 8 is the best identifying mark.
LDS, die state b. The repunching along the base of the 1 is clear but STATES is weak from die wear. The die lines and points from the E in CENT are gone. DWH #1454.
