1856 N-1 R1 Italic 5 EF45. Sharpness AU50 but recolored a rather glossy dark steel and olive. No marks or other defects.
LDS, die state d, with strong rim cud breaks over ST and AT (joined to appear as a single cud). CC#3 of only 8 known in state d, and the cuds are weak on a few of those.
This is the discovery coin for the die state. DWH #1567.
