1856 N-17 R2 Italic 5 MS62. Lustrous steel brown with 5% of the mint red remaining on the obverse, 20% on the reverse. There are a few trivial contact marks, including a tiny pinprick on the jaw over the throat.
E-MDS, die state a, with fine die lines down to the right from the bottom of the outer hair bun. Tied for CC#4.
