General President, I.B.T. and Peter Schultz (1913-1975 probably declared dead in 1982) Mid-20th Century labor leader having immense political power as President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America. His ties to crime bosses are the stuff of great drama. His battling with the Nixon administration is historic, his rivalry to Anthony Provenzano in trying to regain his power in the unions, never mind Detroit boss Anthony Giacalone ended badly. Superb banquet menu signed on verso in excellent condition. Hoff has signed as well as President and Business Manager Peter P. Schultz in and above the photo. A great piece of 20th Century Amricana.
