Map is of Lithuania and Poland and was published in 1703 for Guillaume Delisle by I. Covens and C. Mortier in Amsterdam. Map covers modern-day Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and the Czech Republic. This map enjoyed great acclaim at the time for its accuracy and extraordinary detail. Also in the lower left corner is a cartouche also created by Delisle. One of the best antique maps we have offered in some time and is beautifully framed to 25 x 20 by an elite gallery.
