Charles Lindbergh: Three Page, Autographed Letter Signed Dated 1971 to Minister for Lands, Sidney, Australia (1902-1974) Excellent, three page letter handwritten on blue onion paper by Charles Lindbergh from Frankfurt, Germany to T.L. Lewis, Minister for Lands, Sidney, Australia to take part in conservation activities there. "I haven't been in Australia since World War II, when I flew twice from New Guinea to Brisbane in connection with Air Force activities……most of the way…….at low altitudes, hoping to see a kangaroo but without success." He the goes onto thank Lewis "Meanwhile, let me say I consider your invitation an honor and highly attractive offer. Thank you again for thinking of me, Sincerely Charles A. Lindbergh" Overall excellent condition 11 x 8.75 twice folded with a soft crease and a single stain.
