Three Judaica Objects: Tzedakah Box, Carved Hebrew Plaque & Memorial Yahrzeit Lamp, Early–Mid 20th Century. Group of three early–mid 20th century Judaica artifacts. Included is a painted metal tzedakah (charity) box with Hebrew inscription identifying it for donation use. Of utilitarian rectangular form with top coin slot and rear hanging point, the box exhibits surface oxidation and wear consistent with long-standing use. Also included is a hand-carved wooden wall plaque topped with a Star of David and decorated with painted Hebrew inscriptions, including a Hebrew date notation ("????"). The reverse retains an early hanger. The wooden plaque shows some paint wear, age staining, and old hanging marks. The group is completed by a cast metal yahrzeit memorial plaque commemorating Isaac Cohen, who died April 26, 1937, bearing both Hebrew and English text. The design features the Tablets of the Law flanked by lions beneath a Star of David, with a printed candle calendar showing anniversary lighting dates from 1938 through 1957. Two candle sockets are mounted at the base. The back retains the original hardware and is marked Copyright 1934 by David E. Roganson. The memorial plaque shows surface wear and oxidation with complete structure; candle fittings present.
