Charles Anderson Governor of Ohio, 1865 Document Signed a Three Page Proclamation Honoring "Thanksgiving For Victory and Peace" (1814-1895) While assuming the role of Governor of Ohio due the death of Governor John Brough, offered is a wonderful archive of Anderson's original proclamation to honor Governor Brough but also included is his proclamation to honor "Thanksgiving for Victory, Peace and Our Country Saved". Both original proclamations are in superior condition. But also included are 5 pages of rough drafts for the Thanksgiving proclamation in Anderson's hand which is most unusual as well as a beautiful portrait engraving of Anderson autographed by him "Charles Anderson Governor of Ohio 1865-1866.
