Lot #36 Daum Nancy Square Vase, Deep Wheel Cut Cameo Glass with Gilt Highlights on Bold Slipper Orchid Blossoms.

Description:

Daum Nancy Square Vase, Deep Wheel Cut Cameo Glass with Gilt Highlights on Bold Slipper Orchid Blossoms. Wonderful craftsmanship in this square formed vase with thick cranberry colored glass creating bold orchids that surround the base. All the leaves and orchids are enhanced with gilt gold enamel. Adding contrast is the heavily patterned glass in light green. We note a very tiny fissure in the interior glass rim that does not impact the patterned layer, barely visible unless examining the mouth at close range. 10 x 3 x 3" with Daum Nancy hallmarked under the base in gilt gold enamel. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely. Local pick up encouraged." Estimated Value $400 - 800 From the Premiere Collection of Lori Nelson, Film and Television Actress.
