Lot #56 Mueller Fréres Luneville Multi-Color Vase Achieved by Splatter Glass in the Mold Process.

Description:

Mueller Fréres Luneville Multi-Color Vase Achieved by Splatter Glass in the Mold Process. Very striking Mueller Fréres Luneville mottled vase. Very similar technique known as pâte de verre (glass paste) however Frères used a technique called splatter glass by fusing different colored glass powder in the layers of the molten stage. The effect is almost impressionistic as can be seen in this 8.5 x 4 x 4" vase with hints of a night sky and hints of trees and plants. A fantastic piece and handsomely signed in silver enamel near base. For any level of collector, this is a fine addition. No chips, cracks or repairs. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely.
