(1873-1970) Brilliant Art Nouveau sculptor from Austria who created and designed phenomenal decorator pieces incorporating bronze, glass and naturally found objects as shells. He was considered in the top tier of artists during the Art Nouveau movement and his works are on display in museums worldwide. Offered is one of his most charming pieces, his Lily Pad & Nymph lamp. Spectacularly well cast in bronze with patinated green in the leaves. The glass is iridescent gold and sculpted to fit that shapes of the leaves. Light works perfectly and is a beauty when illuminated 10 x 6.5 x 6.5". No issues whatsoever. Gurschner name is pressed into one of the leaves. Total weigh is just over 12 pounds.
