Apollo 12, 1969, FLOWN Lunar Surface US Flag (6x4") mounted on a Presentation certificate (20x16"), surrounded by printed (?) autographs of co-workers and with the inscription "This flag was carried to the Moon in Apollo 12 by Pete Conrad, Dick Gordon and Al Brean. November 19, 1969, Ocean of Storms, Presented to Betty M. Taylor / by the Flight Control Division / March 1970". The frame was removed from this mat, hence exposing the faults in all their glory. The edges of the flag appear to have been trimmed to lay flat in the mat and the presentation itself is extensively stained. Still and all, flown Apollo 12 flags don't come around every day.
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500.
