1795 C-6a R2 Without Pole VG8. Struck over a TAL Cent. Sharpness F12 with microscopic granularity in the fields and protected areas, mostly on the reverse. No verdigris. A light rim bruise left of the bottom of the cap is the only significant contact mark. Rather glossy dark chocolate brown with lighter brown and chocolate toning on much of the obverse (possibly the result of a very light cleaning). EDS, Manley state 1.0. Undertype from the TAL Cent shows above MERI. Weight 86.2 grains.
