1795 C-6a R2 Without Pole G5. Sharpness considerably better where properly struck up, but the lower part of the obverse and upper part of the reverse were very softly impressed leaving little or no details in those areas. It appears the die faces were out of proper parallel alignment, and the result is a piece with no hint of a date and TATES OF extremely faint. The surfaces are covered with very fine roughness under a rather glossy chocolate and darker olive brown patina. No verdigris. A rim nick over TA in STATES is the only significant mark. Weight 80.1 grains.
Estimated Value $100-UP.
