1787 New Jersey Maris 43-d Rarity-1 Double Struck PCGS graded F15. Plain Shield. Glossy chocolate and steel brown. Smooth and attractive for the grade, free of any notable defects. Double Struck. The first strike was slightly off center to K-10.5, and the second was a bit farther off center in the same direction. The offset between impressions was small, less than a millimeter, but the doubling is obvious on both sides. The Double Struck feature is noted on the PCGS label. Listed on page 70 in the "Redbook."
