1853 C-1 R1. NGC graded MS-66 Brown. Highly lustrous light olive and bluish steel brown. Hints of faded mint color show in a few of the protected areas on both sides. This piece offers outstanding eye appeal. The only marks, and they are microscopic, are a few ticks on the cheek and some extremely tiny specks of darker toning in the right obverse field. MDS. The obverse fields are just starting to display a hint of waviness.
Our grade is MS63+, very close to MS64. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
