Uniform extremely fine roughness covers both sides but it is effectively hidden under the attractive toning. The only marks are a small spot of reddish verdigris over the right top of the U in UNITED and a thin nick under OF. M-LDS, Breen state IV, with bulges through the top of LIBERTY extending slightly beyond the Y. A decent if imperfect example of a variety that's difficult to find in high grade.
