Alexander III (1845 - 1894) reigned as Emperor of Russia from March 14, 1881 until his death in 1894. Alexander was the second son of Tsar Alexander II and unlike most in the extended family, he was a huge bear of a man, considered lacking in refinement. However he enjoyed having the same physicality as the majority of his subjects and frequently the same disposition. Pre-printed document is boldly signed by Alexander III and dated at bottom of document 1893.
